This template is used by Wikipedia:Adopt-a-typo. The simplest way to use this template is to just add {{User Adopt-a-typo}} to your user page. This uses the default yellow color. A gender-colored background may also be specified using {{User Adopt-a-typo|male}} or {{User Adopt-a-typo|female}}, which produces a baby blue and pink background, respectively. A second parameter that specifies a specific typo which you are adopting and provides a convenient search link may also be used. For example, {{User Adopt-a-typo|male|abbriviated}} includes a search link for "abbriviated" [ sic] while also having a blue background.
