This template is used after a person's name in the {{ Infobox military conflict}} template to indicate that the person was killed in action.

Usage

{{ KIA}} displays dagger symbol:   †
{{ KIA|bold=no}} does not bold the symbol:   †
{{ KIA|alt=yes}} (or {{ KIA2}} for short) displays the abbreviation:   (KIA)
