This is the
template sandbox page for
Template:Flag IPC athlete (
diff). See also the companion subpage for test cases. |
This template is used to simplify creation of Paralympic results articles. It expands upon the infrastructure developed for the {{ FlagIPC}} template to render the following additions to an athlete's name:
{{FlagIPCathlete|athlete|code|games}}
Note that the combination of code and games parameters will automatically choose the correct flag for the nation (including historical flags for nations in which they have changed over the years) and the correct wikilink to the nation's article.
{{flagIPCathlete | [[Ron Stein]] | USA | 1960 Summer }}
{{flagIPCathlete | [[Annemie Schneider]] | FRG | 1976 Winter }}
For comparison, the output of {{flagIPCmedalist | [[Annemie Schneider]] | FRG | 1976 Winter }}
is:
Template:Country flag IPC alias AAA
or Template:Country flag IOC alias AAA
where AAA is an
IPC or
IOC country code. There are IPC templates for the following country codes: AUS, BEL, DEN, ESP, EUN, FRA, FRG, GBR, IPA, IPP, IRL, ITA, LUX, NED, NZL, RSA, SUI, and TPE. All other country codes will use the IOC template.
