For example, the first entry in the members index is for "Abbot, Daniel, 284". Looking at the list of parliaments with page numbers it can be seen that page is within the bounds of the " Second Protectorate Parliament (Parliament at Westminster, Anno 1658-9)" (pages 272 to 284) and turning to page 284 The entry reads "Counties of Tipperary and Waterford, Sir John Reynolds Kt, Daniel Abbot."
