This is a documentation subpage for Template:Archived WikiProject Proposal top. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template should always be substituted (i.e., use {{ subst:Archived WikiProject Proposal top}}).

Usage

After a WikiProject Proposal has run for three months, it is archived to make room for new proposals.

To archive a proposal.

1. Replace {{ REMOVE THIS TEMPLATE WHEN CLOSING THIS WIKIPROJECT PROPOSAL}} with a relevant archive header
   • For ones where the project was created use {{ subst:Archived WikiProject Proposal created|Wikipedia:WikiProject Tulips|~~~~}} replacing Tulips with the valid pagename of the created project.
   • For ones where the project was not created use {{ subst:Archived WikiProject Proposal notcreated|2=~~~~}}
2. Append {{ Archived bottom}}
3. Remove the listing of the proposal from Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals, and link to it at the current archive subpage.
