Teichiussa or Teichioussa ( Ancient Greek: Τειχιοῦσσα and Τειχιόεσσα [1]) was a town of ancient Caria or of Ionia [2] in the territory of Miletus, and according to Thucydides and Stephanus of Byzantium, a possession of the latter city. [3] [4] It was a polis (city-state) and a member of the Delian League. [5] During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartans struck at Iasos from here. [6] [2]
Its site is located near Kazıklı, Asiatic Turkey. [7] [8]
