Tasuj Rural District ( Persian: دهستان طسوج) [3] is in Tasuj District of Kavar County, Fars province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Tasuj. [4]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the former Kavar District of Shiraz County) was 20,847 in 4,406 households. [5] There were 11,059 inhabitants in 2,659 households at the following census of 2011, [6] by which time Kavar District had been separated from Shiraz County in the establishment of Kavar County. The rural district was transferred to the new Tasuj District. [4] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 11,199 in 2,813 households. The most populous of its 28 villages was Tasuj (now a city), [7] with 4,555 people. [2]
