Tarmola (Finnish: [ˈtɑrmolɑ]; Swedish: Östermalm) is a district in Porvoo, Finland. [1] [2] It is located in the northeastern part of the downtown area along the Regional Road 170, [3] a few kilometers south of the Highway 7 ( E18). The old town of Porvoo is 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from Tarmola.
Services in the area include the grocery stores K-Supermarket [2] [4] and Lidl, [5] the Alko store, [6] the Tokmanni discount store, [7] the Rinta-Jouppi car dealership [8] [9] and the Veikon Kone electronics store. Other significant places also include the chocolate and bakery stores of the Brunberg Factory [10] [11] [12] and Pieni Suklaatehdas. [13] [14] Tarmola is also home to the Kaupunginhaka business and industrial area, [15] and the local Padel hall. [16]
