The Swiss national team book '80 Anni Di Calcio Svizzero' lists Steffen as with Cantonal (after his return from Chelsea) for his every international match until 1955, when he's listed as with Young Boys... I'm not saying you're wrong to say he went straight from Chelsea to Young Boys, but are you CERTAIN he didn't rejoin Cantonal from Chelsea...?
