A topical work that has been influenced by Rakic's writings is The Evolution of God by Robert Wright

It seems that this subject does meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for biographies but I'm having real difficulty locating reliable third party sources to support the text. From the history of the article, it appears that this has been an issue from the beginning. There appear to be lots of possibilities in the Google books search and more in Google Scholar but I've run out of time to do more. I've added one ref to take the article out of the danger zone of the unreferenced biographies lists - but this is barely adequate. It seems indeed that plenty of reliable third party sources can be found to support the text. Only in Google Scholar I found some thirty citations of this scholar. Can someone add these sources? This page has a lot of serious references and links. The project is about the already quite famous Dutch-Serbian American scholar who is giving major contributions in books and journals (with the highest impact factors, by the way). They are on primarily two important philosophical themes: Kantian cosmopolitan moral theory (interpreted by Rakic in an extraordinarily original and cogent way) and the morality of human enhancement. I hope that Rakic will unite these two theories. What he is doing now is already path-breaking, but if he unites his interpretation of Kantian moral theory and moral enhancement in a way he is capable of, philosophers and scientists will witness something new both in philosophy and science, neuro-science i particular. Rakic has also founded the Center for the Study of Bioethics, a Belgrade based international research institute that assembles the best of the best in the world of bioethics. As Voi Rakic is relatively young, we can expect much more from him. The Dutch scientific community should work harder to get him more involved in the Netherlands - Marijk Havelaar

There is something wrong with the previous comment. I am a bioethicist who met Rakic and who is very familiar with his work. He is one of the finest bioethicists I know of. I count here more than 50 articles in his reference list and in only one he is a co-author. He seems to have 8 published books out of which he is a co-author in only 3. He has apparantly also edited plenty of books. What I also know is that his recent articles have appeared in the Journal of Medical Ethics, the American Journal of Bioethics, Cambridge Quartertly of Health Care Ethics etc. These are the world's finest journals in bioethics, medical ethics, ethics and philosophy. Proof of that is that they have the highest impact factors in these fields. In all of these journals I have also found articles on Rakic's work. The remark about 90% and the rest of the comment is simply not true. The comment does not belong to this article. These discussions are useless. Vojin Rakic is known to everyone who has even elementary knowledge of bioethics, bioenhancement in particular. It is misguided to count the type of his publications. He is a famous scientist and he plays an important role in the development of bioethics. It was Vojin Rakic who founded the Centre for the Study of Bioethics in Belgrade. Only those who don't really know who Vojin Rakic is or who have never heard about the Center for the Study of Bioethics deal with his publications in the way the previous two commentators do. After examining the publications list I must say that it is, particularly what concerns ethics, quite modest. I am not considering the content and the influence of the publications, which could be as stated above. The publication list is huge and the articles on the list have been published in the highest ranking journals on the Thomson Reuters list.
