Some data 鈥 n-gram stats suggest that these terms were pretty much in use for events prior to the ones that the articles are about, but were never consisntently capitalized for any of the events, before or after. See n-grams that include:

Responses

  • Makes sense. The terms don't appear to have become proper nouns, as in the case of the American Civil War, for example. It is not the role of Wikipedia to establish proper nouns, as that would violate WP:OR. I support the moves. 聽聽 鈥 The聽Transhumanist聽聽 09:57, 13 April 2024 (UTC) reply
  • Support lower-case per MOS:CAPS, MOS:TM, and WP:NCMILHIST, unless and until evidence for a particular case indicates that it is consistently capitalized in the substantial majority of independent reliable sources. 鈥夆斺 SMcCandlish 鈥凁煒尖 22:14, 15 April 2024 (UTC) reply
