Dear Wikipedia Website Master,
I did the original research on Thomas Bracken's triple star line in his GDNZ and made the conection with Te Kooti. I would like to advise a small correction in your article, as follows:
Please delet the title 'Chief' in your reference to 'Chief Te Kooti' Te Kooti was a campaign leader, but was never a 'Chief'
Regards

In the opening it is stated that Bracken was the first person to publish the phrase "God's Own Country". I think this needs to be referenced. Theodore D ( talk) 10:29, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
How could Bracken have had an "Irish-New Zealand" citizenship in the 19th century when Ireland wasn't an independent country? The citizenship of everyone in Ireland at the time would have been to the United Kingdom. So the entry for citizenship needs to be changed to reflect that, because at the moment it's flat out wrong. 146.200.179.170 ( talk) 13:25, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
