Hello! I'll have a review written for this article within the next few days. Thebiguglyalien ( talk) 03:00, 1 March 2024 (UTC) reply

Lazman321, this was an interesting read. I was really into Cartoon Netowrk as a kid, but Moxy was a few years before my time. I've left some notes below and I'll put the review on hold so you can look them over. Thebiguglyalien ( talk) 19:57, 2 March 2024 (UTC) reply

@ Thebiguglyalien: Thank you for the long-awaited review. I've addressed your concerns. Lazman321 ( talk) 06:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
Lazman321 I looked over the article. A few of these things weren't in the edit—I'm wondering if you forgot to save your changes? You'd hardly be the first person that happened to. I flagged these with not done tags, but everything else is good. Thebiguglyalien ( talk) 17:18, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
@ Thebiguglyalien: OK, I've dealt with the concerns that I forgot to save. Lazman321 ( talk) 01:56, 4 March 2024 (UTC) reply
Looks good! I'll mark this as a good article now. Thebiguglyalien ( talk) 02:03, 4 March 2024 (UTC) reply
Well-written

I made a few copyedits, which you can view here.

  • animated anthology television series – Having both of these linked side by side makes it look like one link instead of two.
  •  Not done
  • This isn't necessary for GA, but to me the lead doesn't really flow. It reads more like a list of short statements.
  •  Done: Tried combining some statements to make the lead flow better Lazman321 ( talk) 06:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  •  Not done
  • Because budgetary constraints only allowed for three camera shots, twenty backgrounds were created to make The Moxy Show interesting. – What's meant here by "camera shots", and what do they have to do with the backgrounds?
  • It appears I slightly misinterpreted the source regarding this statement and have rewritten it accordingly. Lazman321 ( talk) 06:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  •  Not done
  • and a closet consisting of shelves with the heaviest objects on the upper shelves – Does this mean they dropped items on him like they do in cartoons? It's unclear as currently written.
  • They are meant to look like they could fall at any time, but it doesn't appear they were supposed to literally fall on him. I've tried rewriting the statement. Lazman321 ( talk) 06:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  •  Not done
  • The title of the show is confusing. There should be more explanation of when it was called The Moxy Show, The Moxy Pirate Show, and The Moxy & Flea Show. The way it's currently written, it makes The Moxy Show and The Moxy & Flea Show seem like the same thing which aired just one episode a year after the name changed.
  •  Done: I've added a footnote in the lead clarifying the names along with clarifying in the broadcast section that "Abducted" was the sole episode to use the The Moxy & Flea Show moniker Lazman321 ( talk) 06:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • It was still a little confusing, so I've made a slight change to the wording. This way it introduces the alternate episode title instead of assuming the reader already knows about it. Thebiguglyalien ( talk) 17:18, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • it is virtually lost media – What does "virtually" mean here?
  • I've rewritten the sentence to remove "virtually". I used that term because the source said the series was "somewhat lost", which I assumed to be referencing the fact that some footage of the series is available online, but said footage is so scarce that the series might as well be lost, but without context, any qualifier wouldn't make sense without using original research to add context. Lazman321 ( talk) 06:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
Verifiable with no original research
  • What is "Yabba Dabba Doo It"? I gather it's some sort of behind the scenes video. Is it publicly available?
  • The specific episode I cited, "The Making of Moxy", is available on YouTube, but I can't link it as it would violate WP:COPYLINK Lazman321 ( talk) 06:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • Do you have access to DeRosa (1993)? The link just takes me to the article's abstract.
  • I had to request the source on WP:RX to access the full text. I can send you it if you want. Lazman321 ( talk) 06:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • I'm happy with the other spot checks, I just wanted to make sure the article wasn't using the abstract to support all of that info. Thebiguglyalien ( talk) 17:18, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • Gresham (2016) is a screenshot of a Facebook comment. There's no way to verify this is real without more information, so this is not a reliable source.
  • All other sources seem generally reliable.

Spot checks:

  • Gill (1993) – Good.
  • Baker (1994) p. 125 – Good.
  • Baker (1994) p. 127 – Good.
  • Bendazzi (2016) p. 8 – Does this source support Cartoon Network's initial programming relied on reruns of classic television cartoons? If this source is redundant to the other two here, you can remove it.
  • Yes, but it is indeed redundant to the Gizmondo source, so I will remove it. Lazman321 ( talk) 06:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • Robertson (1994) p. 28 – Good.

Another spot check, mostly because I wanted to see it for myself:

  • Just Yabba Dabba Doo It – Good.
Broad in its coverage

It does look like there's more information in some of the sources that you could use, but all of the basics seem to be covered. No excessive detail.

Neutral

Winfrey's opinion on the character is given a lot of weight for just one person. I'd trim that back to just one sentence, maybe two if necessary.
