No bones

As of now, this is original research. But if anyone comes across mention that the way Ramsay says krakens have no bones is remarkably similar to the way Nigel from Spinal Tap says it about tuna, it'd be worth noting. InedibleHulk (talk) 06:24, 23 July 2014 (UTC) reply

RfC on Oathkeeper

There's an RS-related RfC on Oathkeeper. Participation and fresh voices would be welcome. The matter concerns a single-line reference to the chapters upon which the episode was based. Darkfrog24 ( talk) 22:14, 17 August 2014 (UTC) reply

RfC: Is Westeros.org an expert SPS?

There is an RfC at Oathkeeper regarding whether the site Westeros.org meets the criteria for an expert self-published source (and is therefore suitable for use on Wikipedia). It is being cited as a source for the statement "This episode was based on [specific chapters of] [specific book]." This article is likely to be affected by the outcome. Participation is welcome. In my opinion, things with wide-reaching consquences should be discussed somewhere central, like Talk:Game of Thrones. Also, epic battles of will to power are best served with sex, violence and much fine-tuning. This one is getting way too long, and this is unwelcoming to new participants (which is why I say this here instead).
Certainly, Charles Dance himself will not be offering his counsel, as even the good books were apparently too long for him. If we don't have his assurances, what do we have? Words, like the ones Mark Addy wrote for Sean Bean, before Lena Headey tore them up. Then it's Conleth Hill's kind of chaos more often than Aiden Gillen's sort. The RfC concerning Westeros.org was closed with the result that the value of the disputed text should be addressed separately. This RfC is meant to determine whether Game of Thrones episode articles should have a statement like "This episode was based on [specific chapters] of [specific book]" in the body text. The outcome of this RfC is likely to affect all Game of Thrones episode articles. Participation is greatly appreciated. Darkfrog24 ( talk) 21:55, 28 September 2014 (UTC) reply

Analysis of Orson Lannister scene

Should this be in the article? It seems to be the most piece of noteworthy real-world information related to the topic, and our article at present is pretty bare and could use some secondary-sourced analysis. Hijiri 88 ( やや) 22:24, 17 January 2018 (UTC) reply
