System of a Down is definitely not "heavy metal"
They were very instrumental in the nu metal scene. Heavy metal is something completely different.

@Njohns321 their overall genre is Numetal, but a lot of their music is categorized as heavy metal. they don't have to be mutually exclusive

FIVE Groups Debut TWO Albums on Billboard 200
In addition to System of a Down, The Beatles, 2Pac and DMX, BTS debuted two albums in 2020 on the Billboard 200 chart. That makes FIVE artists.

This article says that System of a Down is a Heavy Metal band but they are a Nu Metal/Alternative Metal band

Not done - It says they are by nu metal and alternative metal in the infobox and musical style section. The lead genre is supposed to be broad. That's why we call them a heavy metal band in the lead sentence.
