The transition of the 'Center' to the 'Abbey' is completely unaddressed, leaving the reader to incorrectly presume that it was a seamless one - it was not. Likewise, the period during which the Abbey was not in communion with the Catholic Church is ignored and one could conclude, incorrectly, that this happened in a short time - not the case.
