Hey, full disclosure: I'm an employee of Sophos. I would like to request some help in editing a few things on our page. Below are the requests and sources. Thanks!
ADDITION: Under the top/main section, there's this paragraph, "Sophos competes in the antivirus industry against avast!, AVG, Avira, ESET, F-Secure, G-Data, Kaspersky, McAfee, Panda Security, Symantec, Trend Micro, and Webroot among others." Can we add the following to the above paragraph: "Sophos also competes in the UTM and network security industry against Barracuda Networks, Check Point Software Technologies, Cisco, Dell, Fortinet, Juniper Networks, and WatchGuard among others." [1]
DELETION: Under the "Key People" list/section on the right rail, please remove "James Lyne" - he is not an executive. [2] ADDITION: Under the "Key People" list/section on the right rail, please add "Hemal Patel" - he is on the executive team as the Senior Vice President, IT and Operations. [3]
ADDITION: Under the "History" section, can we add the following... "In February 2014, Sophos announced that it had acquired Cyberoam Technologies, a provider of network security products." [4]
ADDITION: Under the "History" section, can we add the following... "In June 2015, Sophos announced that it would go public at a valuation of £1 billion ($1.6 billion)." [5]
REPLACEMENT: For the logo, can we update the file to reflect the updated logo (with a new blue). [6]
REPLACEMENTS: I'd like to update the sources for the following references so that they're from third parties and not sophos.com...
5. "Apax Partners to acquire majority stake in Sophos" [7]
10. "Sophos Acquires Mobile Security Startup Mojave Networks" [8]
11. "Sophos to offer $340 million takeover bid for German rival" [9]
12. "Sophos completes takeover offer of Utimaco Safeware AG" [10]
13. "Apax Partners to acquire majority stake in Sophos" [11]
14. Sophos Acquires Internet Security Appliance Maker Astaro [12]
15. Sophos acquires mobile management provider Dialogs [13]
16. Sophos Acquires Network Security Firm Cyberoam Technologies [14]

The line :
'Over 35 million users from organisations of all sizes benefit from its software and first-class 24/7 technical support.'
sounds a bit too much like corporate spin. I hope this wasn't written by someone in the company. In any case I'll leave for it for now because I have no experience with there products.
definitely sounds like corporate spin to me...
Feel free to neutralize, to wiki-ize. Be bold. I agree. Rags ( talk) 19:53, 2 August 2016 (UTC)
