Orphaned references in Sikh diaspora

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Sikh diaspora's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "census2011":

  • From Tamil Australians: "2011 Census of Population and Housing". Table Builder. Australian Bureau of Statistics.
  • From Maharashtra: "Population by religion community – 2011". Census of India, 2011. The Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India. Archived from the original on 25 August 2015.
  • From British Columbia: "Population and dwelling counts, for Canada, provinces and territories, 2011 and 2006 censuses". Statistics Canada. February 8, 2012. Retrieved February 8, 2012.
  • From East Punjab: C -1 POPULATION BY RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY - 2011 - censusindia.gov.in

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 19:02, 12 January 2021 (UTC) reply

Article contains original research

The paragraphs about the Khalistan movement and Sikh Identity contain multiple unsourced and unverified claims which need to be supported by citations from scholarly sources, they may be incorrect in their assertions and can lead to a politically charged narrative being promoted, thus, I've added a may contain original research template until enough citations are added in those paragraphs. GA from 2007. Would like to have some people take a look at the article as the article has numerous citation needed tags and may contain original research because "The paragraphs about the Khalistan movement and Sikh identity make a lot of unsourced and unverified claims, many of which may be incorrect." I agree that Sikh diaspora should not be featured as a Good article. Upon having a look, it contains content with no verifiable sources provided - an immediate disqualification.
Overall, I believe this article should be rated as a C class - for its lack of verifiable information. Chilicave ( talk) 02:56, 1 July 2023 (UTC) reply
