Santo Domingo, Ecuador, or Santo Domingo de los (or Los) Colorados?

Some distinctive name is needed for the article. The president of Ecuador's site, and most maps, use the longer title: informal local use and es.Wikipedia use simply Santo Domingo, in which case the country name is needed for disambiguation purposes. My preference would be for Santo Domingo de Los Colorados (I am willing to take advice on the capitalisation or otherwise of the 4th word), but we should A) be consistent, and B) by no means have a redirect to the capital city of the Dominican Republic. Santo Domingo de Los Colorados Santo Domingo de los Colorados – Over redirect, the "l" in "los" should be lowercased. Digirami ( talk) 19:25, 25 April 2011 (UTC) reply

Obscure measurement

Why is the obscure Fahrenheit measurement used? I have no idea what 71 degrees fahrenheit implies. -- Oddeivind ( talk) 18:55, 7 July 2012 (UTC) reply
