I have removed the Proposed Deletion template, as i believe the book has enough nontrivial coverage to be potentially notable, despite obvious flaws with the article. to be clear, this is not simply a common travel guide (which would pretty much automatically disqualify it for an article), but an original history of this important ethnic enclave, published by City Lights, which, while not a major (ie moneyed) publisher, restricts itself exclusively to serious works of literature and culture. Since i have not provided enough new references (yet) to clearly establish notability beyond doubt, i would recommend that this book be taken to WP:Articles for deletion for further consideration.
