Is it possible to calculate (87Rb/86Sr) ratio of a meteorite originally if the current meteorite is dated 4.5 billion years after formation? (Assuming it to be in a closed section.)

Is it possible to add some more language for laypersons and include some factual examples/studies? This would really help with using this as reference for articles less geared towards nucleal physics etc.. thanks 132.38.190.22 ( talk) 20:40, 7 October 2009 (UTC) reply
