This page was a stub. I have extensively rewritten it, and although it falls far short of full coverage, I think it may be classes as a start article. I have also rated it high importance because it is a substantial field with several textbooks.

It should certainly be discussed. It's usually put under the heading of IRM (Isothermal Remanent Magnetization).
