how does it work?

could someone explain if it is done via a pvr or how the system can send different content to different people at the same time? thanks

The content that's served is usually MHEG or hbbtv, the entire set of content is served to that channel regularly and then downloaded via the set top box. When the content has arrived the box runs the code and at that point it's interactive. This is how different content is served on a per-user basis. 88.98.241.204 ( talk) 12:59, 6 October 2018 (UTC) reply

Stubbiness

I removed the 'stub' tags because I don't feel there needs to be more information on "Ze Red Button", although more is always welcome :) BrickMcLargeHuge 00:45, 2 December 2007 (UTC) reply

Also rest of Europe?

I'm sure I saw the red buttons being mentioned as part of Eurovision... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.20.254.191 ( talk) 22:33, 11 November 2008 (UTC) reply

I have uploaded a photo of the red button on my freeview remote control. I'm a newbie to wikipedia though so didn't know how to then upload it to this article. The file is called redbutton.jpg. HazySpy ( talk) 01:21, 15 March 2009 (UTC) reply

Making a list of channels and events that uses the intractive press red feature

Do you think someone could make a list of all the channels and events that use interactive features using the red button possible in a table which includes program name channel availability (if 24/7 or just during a certain time frame or if only running for a particular event) and extra information. I am unsure of its full popularity in other parts of the world but I don't believe the list should not be too big
