Are these countries effectively having open borderss or open civic borders with France, Italy, Switzerland, etc.? Should they be added to the list?
The Bahamas, Haiti and Montserrat are included under the "notes" column but not under "states"
This very neatly implies, especially to Americans, the christian conservative nature of those opposing immigration. That is not ideal as a lot of opposition actually comes from the centrists, liberals(not the American liberal) and libertarians who find many to not quite respect things some as freedom of expression and thought, for democracy or for not. Meanwhile the leftist version of this argument is one which basically says Islam is in conflict with all things lgbtq, theyre pretty homophobic and unlike, per se eastern european homophobes, they behead them.
Meanwhile a different point is that the article neglects to mention the extreme social conservatism of hispanics in the USA(namely their second or was it third generation immigrants). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:448A:1082:1094:29E9:4C89:183D:86D2 ( talk) 08:17, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
