I'm removing the Sly and the Family Stone songs category because the band never released or recorded it. It was recorded by Sly and appears on the Precious Stone: In The Studio With Sly Stone 1963-1965 compilation released by Ace in 1994 *. Sly demoed the song a good year and a half at least before Sly & The Family Stone was formed. Correct me if I'm wrong but just because Sly demoed it, doesn't mean it should be classed as a song for the band. Karl Twist ( talk) 09:33, 27 June 2017 (UTC)

- The guideline WP:SONGCOVER sets a high bar to inclusion. At the very least you would need to find a published source saying something special about his cover version. Binksternet ( talk) 20:20, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- Also, "Canadian musician Neil Young"? He's only lived in the U.S. for three quarters of his life and is a dual citizen; all of his children were raised in the U.S. 98.169.209.11 ( talk) 02:28, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
