Some things in that section are inaccurate: The Oker was never any sort of border river for the Kingdom of Hanover, as the
Duchy of Brunswick has been independent from Hanover as long as that Kingdom existed. First I thought I just got the sentence wrong with the Oker separating Hanover from both Brunswick and Saxony. But that's wrong, too, because after 1815, the territory of the Duchy was spread across Hanover's territory, as you can see in
