A required text book in my freshman year at El Camino college was 30 Days to a Better Vocabulary by Norman Lewis. That was in 1951 -- twenty years earlier than the date given for the publication of that book in this article. If nominated by the editors of this page to do so, I shall be pleased to research the subject a bit. Paul Niquette ( talk) 16:17, 7 April 2014 (UTC) reply

Never mind. I missed this passage in the article. "With Funk's name on the cover of 30 Days and an advertising budget behind it, the book took off. It is considered one of the most widely used and popular how-to books of its kind. First published in 1942, the latest edition was published in 2003." Please excuse the inattentiveness of an octogenarian. Paul Niquette ( talk) 07:39, 8 April 2014 (UTC) reply
