This article contains a translation of No one is too small to make a difference from sv.wikipedia.

Have tidied up grammar, punctuation, etc, but there are a couple of issues which came up. The original wikilinks to Our House is On Fire were dead and I removed them, then realised that in the original article they point to the Swedish article. I've replaced the original Wikilinks and updated them to point to the Swedish version, but obviously that's not optimal, so I'm also looking to get it translated into the equivalent English article which can then be linked to properly. The same applies for the 'See also' section listing a link to Scenes from the Heart.

Update on translation: sv:Scener ur hjärtat has been translated and is currently in draft space awaiting updating with refs, links, etc. before it goes live. If anyone wants to go ahead and do that, please feel free. I'll get to it myself soon. Our House is On Fire to follow soon. Thanks.

I have found and downloaded an image of the book cover. My question is, does this count as copyrighted material and can we use it under the fair use licence? Anyone know? Thanks.

@ Cadar: A book cover is copyrighted according to Wikipedia regulations. However the file (wirh lower size thant the size of the orginal cover) can be used as fair use but only in the article about the book. Nikosgranturismogt ( talk) 15:50, 2 July 2019 (UTC) reply

@ Nikosgranturismogt: Thanks! That was my reading of the copyright and fair use rules on WP, although I found little to no specific mention of book covers. The current article has an image already; the image I found is the one hosted here: https://www.waterstones.com/book/no-one-is-too-small-to-make-a-difference/greta-thunberg/9780141991740 Do you think the article needs it? Does it add anything to it? I was going to add it because there was no artwork or image, but another editor added the photo of the book's original primary author.

@ Cadar: My opinion is that the article needs the photo. Despite that the article comments the book of Greta's speeches and thus the page is directly related to Thunberg, the photo of the author can be somewhat confusing. In this case the book cover looks more sutibale for the kind of the article, while in the most articles about books, the infobox shows the book's cover. A draft is a draft and has no place in the main space of Wikipedia, therefore please do not add a link to this draft in this article even in a hidden message. What is the purpose of doing so? The purpose of doing so was (as mentioned in the edit summary) to reinstate a section of the page which was removed by another editor. The page currently exists, as does the Swedish version it was translated from - and to which the removed link pointed - so the section is both necessary and warranted for the article. The fact that it's a draft is only temporary. I replaced it because it's creating more work for me to have to then go back and reinstate it, and yet further work having to explain why I did the work in the first place and then have to go and reinstate it. I'm already busy with chasing up the translations and other work on these three articles. I'd like my work to not be unnecessarily removed or questioned by other editors where possible, since it all just needs to be redone (and apparently explained) yet again.

If the draft is temporary, as I understood from your edit summary, what is the hurry? We come here to work and getting things right for our readers is more important than saving ourselves a bit of effort as editors. As long as you link drafts to actual articles your work will likely be removed, I'm sorry you don't like this but it can't be helped. As Wikipedia editors anything we do may be challenged by others. Why did the other editor remove the section? I am an editor who regularly does translation work, it isn't always easy, but keeping articles live and in great condition is our first responsibility, saving you time is less of a priority. ♫ RichardWeiss talk contribs 17:40, 1 July 2019 (UTC) reply

Hurry is not the issue. It's creating unnecessary work which just needs to be redone, as I did right now since the page has gone live. "Getting things right for our readers" is irrelevant in commented out content on an article, since the readers don't see that. Hence the fact that I commented it until I could finish with the other article and make it live. Doesn't matter. The page is live, the links are live. We're just waiting on the translation of the other article "Notre maison brûle et nous regardons ailleurs" from the Swedish. I can remove the draft now. In future I'll avoid linking to draft space.

While we're on the subject, thanks to yourself and J 1982 for sorting out the article

Readers may or may not see it but editors will and we simply shouldn't link to drafts, that isn't what drafts are for, indeed it is the exact opposite of what drafts are for. A draft means something not ready for the main space. I'd prefer it if you'd speak in English not French as it is the en Wikipedia. I wasn't "speaking French", I wrote the title of the current article, which I thought was clear from the sentence it's in. I did neglect to add the wikilink, so that might have caused some confusion. As stated, we're waiting on a translation of it. I can translate French fine, I can't translate Swedish, which is what the original article is written in. And the title of the article is the name of the speech given by Thunberg to a French audience. It means "Our house is burning while we simply watch."
