Article claims in the spec that the D5300 has
- Built-in sensor cleaning system (vibrating low-pass filter
This contradicts almost all other sources I've seen which say that the D5300 *doesn't* have a low-pass filter, including Nikon themselves:-
- The benefits of leaving the optical low-pass filter out
- In order to maximize the high resolution realized by its high pixel count, the D5300's image sensor unit does not integrate an optical low-pass filter (OLPF).
In writing this, I literally just noticed that the comment above also complains that the spec appears to have been copied from the D5200 and is disputed. That comment is eight years old, but the section still isn't referenced at all.
It even says elsewhere that it has no anti-aliasing filter(!)

- In page 242 of this camera's reference manual, it states that the image sensor is cleaned by vibrating the sensor itself. Perhaps the article can be corrected to reflect this? Rosscercado ( talk) 11:53, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
