Proposal for deletion of article

By way of background. The term Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) has been adopted by Thames Valley Police for the implementation of the national strategy introduced by the Home Office and the National Policing Improvement Agency known as 'Neighbourhood Partnerships'. Each police force in the United Kingdom has been required to implememnt this policy as part of neighbourhood policing and introduction of PCSO's over the past 3 or so years however as with TVP each police force has given them a title which fits with the culture of the local policing area. In several police force areas the original title: Neighbourhood Partnership has been used whereas elsewhere the are various called Community Partnerships, Community or Neighbourhood Teams, Community improvement teams etc etc.

  • propose keep with article name change. I would propose keeping the article but changing its title to Neighbourhood partnership and improving the content by reference to national policy documents such as [ this] and [ this]. It would then be possible when editing articles on local policing matters or settlements etc for editors to link to the page with a pipped link using the locally adopted title for neighbourhood partnerships.
