Legal deposit

The text states that Decree 1825 "was revoked by congressional Law no. 10,994, still in force, upholding the same mandate but updating its provisions." This is confusing. Does 10,994 still require deposit or not? If not, how does it "update" 1825? Ecphora ( talk) 22:48, 25 July 2013 (UTC) reply

Seventh largest library

The second sentence claims that the library is the 7th largest in the world, which is unsubstantiated except by a Brazilian ministry of culture source. Maybe due to the 7 year gap between this comment and this page's last edit the information has changed. Given it has a collection size of 9mil, it wouldn't even rank on the List of largest libraries. I am inexperienced & infrequent user of wikipedia so I hope this comment suffices. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xecten ( talkcontribs) 19:29, 16 January 2023 (UTC) reply
