Paul of Mérida

Is the Paul of Mérida credited with authoring the VPE a different person from Paul (Bishop of Mérida), one of the Vita's subjects, who could not have been writing about Masona? My sources don't name the author. — Srnec ( talk) 01:38, 22 December 2009 (UTC) reply

I didn't make the link, thinking not so, according to Wikipedia's article Paul, Bishop of Mérida, which mentions "Paul's later biographer, the author of the Vitas Patrum Emeritensium." I have no independent information, Srnec.-- Wetman ( talk) 03:06, 22 December 2009 (UTC) reply
I doubt we have two Pauls of Mérida, but I'll look into it when I get around to creating a VPE article. Srnec ( talk) 05:19, 23 December 2009 (UTC) reply
