A friendly question
Liver biopsy is the removal of a small sample of tissue from the liver.
According to the dictionary.com
re·mov·al /rɪˈmuvəl/ Pronunciation[ri-moo-vuhl]
–noun
- the act of removing.
- change of residence, position, etc.
dismissal, as from an office.
Here removal is used as a synonym for the invasive liver tissue specimen obtaining procedure?
Just curious... I checked few med. dictionaries but they too use word removal. Aren't there other more appropriate words to replace that cutting/pulling/taking etc procedure?
Thank you.

I wonder if it's worth creating a separate article for Fibroscan with some information on the procedure. This is becoming a standard test for liver damage and it's probably going to become more prominent in future. Any thoughts? Bandanamerchant ( talk) 21:04, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
