What would people think of reorganizing not by date but by approximate reading level? This would make the list more useful. Brief annotations on some of the items would be nice too. I suggest creating a separate category for 'non-equilibrium statistical mechanics', which would include kinetic theory. I know of several important books that could fill this out.
As for objective criteria in deciding which books to include, how about taking into consideration google scholar citation count? MaxwellMolecule ( talk) 22:09, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
Hi all, so check it out, WP notability criteria for books is really low-offensively low in comparison to the high bar for academics, but that's beside the point. Two points
So many of the books on the list qualify, i have added reviews for them and you can see many are notable enough for their own page. So, if you are interested, have fun! I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. @ Nerd271: any thoughts? Footlessmouse ( talk) 23:40, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
