Joshua Boren killings

On January 17 I listed the deaths of Joshua Boren's family members in this article, as they were killed by an off-duty police officer (who then killed himself). Another user removed this entry on January 31, stating "Has nothing to do with a police killing." I have undone this deletion citing the first line of this article, which states, "This is a list of people killed by non-military law enforcement officers in January 2014, whether in the line of duty or not, and regardless of reason or method." By this criteria, I believe that this incident definitely belongs on this list. I am totally open to discussing this matter, but I do think similar things have been hashed out a bit on the talk pages of older lists. Anyhow, I figured I would explain my reasoning here in case anyone wanted to discuss it. Michellecornelison ( talk) 01:44, 1 February 2014 (UTC) reply
