Apart from WP derived entries the only support for July 8 1947 I've found so far is IMDB. There are a small number (about 3) that have just the year 1947 and considerably more (maybe a dozen) that have 1948, that I found.

Therefore I'm changing the DoB. Please feel free to change it back if more compelling evidence comes to light.
