Insurrectionist Kenny Chesebro is awaiting indictment for racketeering and sedition as Trump's Co-Conspirator #5 in the January 6 indictment in Washington, D.C. for his treacherous conspiratorial attempts to subvert the will of the voting public and to suborn others into committing perjury and treason. I added section titles to this article. An article in the Washington Post on August 16, 2023 was my source for information about Chesebro’s life, earlier career and his more recent shift from Democratic politics to Republican. There are quotes from Laurence Tribe in that article, but I did not include them; not sure how to work them in. - - Prairieplant ( talk) 23:35, 17 August 2023 (UTC)
Since Chesebro has pleaded guilty, I suggest this article be rated of higher importance because of the possible effect of his plea on the other defendants, notably on Donald Trump. YoPienso ( talk) 22:31, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
The Washington Post reports Chesebro went with his wife. Since he and Emily Stevens divorced, this may be a second wife.
The Toobin article has the most detail on who he moved to Puerto Rico with. See: https://airmail.news/issues/2023-8-12/legal-weasel Utahredrock ( talk) 21:02, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
I assume good faith too. Moving your section here because I was clarifying what I was saying as you were typing.
I agree with number one. I don't think we should reference the wife moving with him to Puerto Rico since it's 1) unclear if it's true which Washington Post asserts 2) it's not clear who the alledged wife is 3) Though Toobin's piece makes it seem clear that it's not his first wife.-- Utahredrock ( talk) 21:33, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
Also, all of this speculation about who moved with him to Puerto Rico--if anyone--should be in the personal section, not a section titled "career after Jan 6". Currently there's just not solid info. It's confusing to say he divorced in 2016 then moved with his wife 6 or so years later. Of course that's possible . . . but per the Toobin piece he didn't move there with his first wife.-- Utahredrock ( talk) 21:50, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
Around his 60th birthday, Chesebro began courting a young woman, providing trips around the world, including an extended one to Paris and London to celebrate her 21st birthday. According to the family friend, the couple has since married. (Chesebro, through his lawyer, declined to answer questions about his marital status or anything else.)-- Utahredrock ( talk) 21:54, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
Chesebro has been identified as the key architect of the fake electors scheme that was used by the Trump campaign to change the results of the 2020 election.
I recommend this article be rated of higher importance. Utahredrock ( talk) 17:31, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
This article previously had Chesebro's booking photo. It was deleted from Wikimedia due to being a photo from Fulton County or the state of Georgia and having questionable copyright. A photo is needed. Utahredrock ( talk) 01:41, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
