Two Neighbourhoods

This article should be split into two, one regarding Kalorama-Sheridan, the other Kalorama Triangle. If not, at very least it should discuss both equally. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.59.174.212 ( talk) 16:33, 12 December 2008 (UTC) reply

I am the above unsigned commenter (16:33, 12/12/08), and I've elaborated on this subject, describing both more accurately. Rahul Sinha ( talk) 17:44, 12 December 2008 (UTC) reply
The description using street names does not correctly define any bounded space -- the Sheridan district, if bounded by Florida, Connecticut, and Massachusetts Avenues would be a triangle and would have no contact with Rock Creek Park. The Kalorama district, if bounded by Connecticut, Calvert, and Columbia would be contained within a triangle that includes Kalorama Park, but that excludes the area to the west of Connecticut and South of Calvert which is identified on Mapquest as Kalorama. If Rock Creek is included in the demarkation, it provides no clear border to the area, since it would have no southern limit.

March 2013 cleanup

Parts of this article sounded like they'd been written by someone trying to sell a house in the area - I'm not saying that in fact they were, but the phrasing was the same sort of gauzy, warm stuff about "hilly terrain and cool breezes", "elegantly spacious pre-war condominiums" making the neighborhood "the most prestigious and desirable address within the city limits of Washington, D.C." It's all opinion and puffery, and unsourced to boot, so I removed it. It has no place in this encyclopedia article. -- JohnInDC ( talk) 13:26, 12 March 2013 (UTC) reply

Coordinates

The article uses two rivaling infoboxes. Putting in the correct coordinates in the section for the "Triangle" screws up the Coordinate Display on the top of the Page, so I took it out. Here's what it might say:
| lat_degrees = 38.9205 | lat_minutes = | lat_seconds = | lat_direction = | long_degrees = 77.0465 | long_minutes = | long_seconds =
