Name

Why the hell is the name on the top "Jon Antin" if his public personna is clearly known as "Jonathan", as well as his salons and products? If the guy chose a ridiculous name-change, like P Diddy's or so, please explain that in the article. It would be a fact, and maybe an important one. And if he didn't, then the name up there should be "Jonathan".

remove this bio

this bio is completely fake and written in first person. i am new to wiki so i am not sure how to flag this entry.

[1] this is the link the official myspace account for the 3rd season with all the correct bio info.

I am surprised

I am surprised that he hasn't come on here himself and deleted all the negative things about himself.

We'll know it's him when we see "Jonathan has banging hair and he loves the ladies!!"

And then he will burst into tears over all the stress of typing.

What exactly is the purpose of his show?

Is it to warn against the dangers of developing an undeserved ego?

To show how society has devolved into a nation of people willing to watch these types of behavior on television?

To be used by actors to show the many different ways to film a man crying?

My Wish

I wish there was an award given to the coolest, most respectful, best boss to work for in America.

So I could enjoy the fact that Jonathan Antin would never fricken get it!

So, I think the guy is pretty ridiculous too, but this isn't a message board and sitting around slamming the dude doesn't make a good encyclopedia entry. I think that the entry on him is pretty negative, and not really neutral. Why do we need to know that it is rumored by someone that he needed help having a kid because he has a history of not getting it up? Even if he admitted this problem, speculation on how it affected the conception of his child isn't notable and strikes me as mean-spirited. Also, if you look at the paragraphs of this entry, a lot of them end with something pretty negative. The part on the Ali G interview makes it seem like since Antin is associated with the fashion world, he is by extension pretentious and shallow. Maybe, maybe not; but not verifiable and not encyclopedic. Anybody got me on this one? Tractorkingsfan 23:58, 5 November 2006 (UTC) reply

So I went ahead and changed some things mentioned above. Tractorkingsfan 00:16, 6 November 2006 (UTC) reply

Removal of True Statements

Jonathan DID walkout on a show due to stress and left his underlings to carry on. Why would that be removed?? Is this an encyclopedia of ONLY positive things people do or ALL the facts?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.62.12.179 ( talk) 18:02, 4 January 2007 (UTC). reply

Antin is widely considered to be an embarassament and is often the subject of popular jokes amongst Hollywood insiders. is this statement really necessary?

Robyn Bagging

I removed the comment describing Robyn's 'botched facelift' as it may seem obvious, but it's not factual or relevant to Jonathan's profile. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Evolee ( talkcontribs) 12:37, 28 April 2007 (UTC). reply

Vandalism

Why are all the vandalisms changed here? His entry is alot more interesting AFTER people vandalize it than BEFORE!

  • What's up with the $75,000/$1 Million haircuts? Is that vandalism too? Must be, since $75,000 will get you a cosmetic procedure from just about any of the very best plastic surgeons in L.A. I have had my ass lifted for about that price!

He charges $5 for a haircut.?

really? $5 for a haircut? is this true? $50 or even $500 is more plausible i think. Bakkouz ( talk) 16:37, 26 April 2008 (UTC) reply

Date and and place of birth

There are a number of places on the web that show a date of birth of August 16, 1967 and that he was born in Los Angeles County, California, but I am unable to find reliable secondary sources for that information.

Did I miss one?-- CaroleHenson (talk) 05:51, 17 December 2016 (UTC) reply

Beauty school / academy

It's a bit confusing to sort out if he went to Fairfax Beauty Academy (of which there is hardly any info on the web) - for which there are reliable secondary sources - or - Hollywood Beauty Academy which is in press releases, but I cannot find a reliable secondary source. See this query. Does anyone have insight on this?-- CaroleHenson (talk) 06:15, 17 December 2016 (UTC) reply
