NOTE: The original of this article listed Arbuthnot's service in the House of Lords as being from 1818 to 1847, but the article List of Scottish representative peers lists Arbuthnot's service as being only from 24 July 1818 to 29 February 1820. If he was the first in the family to use double-t, why is his father referred-to with a double, and he himself (at one point) with a single? Valetude ( talk) 03:10, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
