Image:JoAnnKelly.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I'm in the process of expanding the citations for Kelly. I'll rewrite the text as the citations fill out. She died before the World Wide Web became widespread (21 October 1990) so WP:RS online are a bit thin and hard to track down. For example, I still haven't found online copies of three contemporary obits in major papers: The Independent, half-page with photo, Tues, 23 October 1990; The Times, featured obit, Thursday, 25 October 1990; and The Guardian, Friday, 26 October 1990. There was an over-dependence on Tony Russell's Blues: From Robert Johnson to Robert Cray when I started but it would be good to scale back those as other sources are put in. Particularly the quote from an unnamed and not credited "obituarist," the quote probably being from one of the three obits above, should either be properly credited and/or removed as better quotes are found. I'm moving rather slowly on this re-write (several weeks now) as I focus on adding citations. Cheers, Mark Ironie ( talk) 21:02, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
For the moment, I'm completely removing the "Further reading" section. It's clear many of these books provide insight on the early British blues scene but it is unclear how much information about Kelly is included. She's probably mentioned in all of them. None of them is actually about Kelly but she was associated with many of individual musicians and groups mentioned.
