Pamzeis, it's just about there. Is there any way the article could explicitly state that she had a modeling career? Even if it's just "she starting working as a model after she was scouted by Select Model Management", unless you have any other thoughts on how to make it clearer. Also, a quote is still attributed to Screen Rant. I'd push on the lead thing if the article was a little longer, but you have a point that it doesn't need to be in the first paragraph. I've added a bit about how she modelled with Next, since sources don't mention her modelling with Select Model Management (for all we know, she could've not modelled there at all). Thanks! Pamzeis ( talk) 11:02, 3 October 2023 (UTC) reply
Well-written
  • The lead should mention something about her LGBT advocacy and maybe her upcoming project.
    • Mmm... I think I disagree on this one. Her LGBT advocacy isn't what she's notable for and it's only received passing mentions in a few articles. I'd prefer to exclude any mention of future projects (unless super duper noteworthy) until released per WP:CRYSTAL
  • There are three really short sections in this article. "Personal life" and "Public image and philanthropy" could easily be combined into a single section. Also, there isn't any "philanthropy" mentioned in the article.
    •  Done
  • Her second release of the year – Grammatically, it's not immediately clear whether this refers to Alexander or Egan. I suggest swapping "Her" for "Alexander".
    •  Done
  • Several opinions are attributed to the publications rather than the authors. For example, The New York Times favourably commented and Comic Book Resources wrote that. The New York Times didn't comment, Lena Wilson from The New York Times did.
    •  Fixed
  • Screen Rant stated that despite a poor script – This makes it sound like the article is agreeing that the script is poor. It should be clearer that this is the opinion of the writer.
    • Revised
  • Alexander was named a Bright Young Thing – Can we get a little context for what this means?
    •  Done
Verifiable with no original research
  • What makes Flipscreened a reliable source?
    • The source in question is an interview with Alexander, so her words are being cited here. They have evidence of an editorial from what I can find.
  • I'm seeing a few different languages in the sources. There's no rule against this, and it can still pass GA, but it's usually best to use English language sources if they exist.
    • Strangely enough, most of the sources I can find on this English actress who mostly stars in British and American productions are in another language lol. So I can't find alternate sources for some statements for whatever reason.
  • Are any other sources able to verify that she was in Necktie? If not, it might not be worth mentioning, especially since another source says that Truck was her first role.
    • plus Added a few sources to supplement this

Spot checks:

  • [2] Elle.mx – Green tickY Checked with machine translation
  • [3] Kandangwa – Green tickY
  • [5] Kroll – Even though this source calls her role in Get Even a break out role, I don't think this is the case any more. Do sources since her Little Mermaid appearance still consider it her break out role? Or do they bestow that honor to Little Mermaid?
    • Well, publications seem split between which one was the breakout, so I've minus Removed this statement
  • [17] Grater – Does this support The film was released in the UK on Sky Cinema.
    • minus Removed
  • [21] Koh – Green tickY
  • [25] Iftikhar – Does this support that Her performance was also praised by fans and went viral on the video-sharing app TikTok
    • Supports Her performance was also praised by fans (the entire article is basically reporting on fans' praise for her performance, I think) and the other sources attached support went viral on the video-sharing app TikTok
Broad in its coverage

Several of the sources describe her as a model, but there's almost nothing about a modeling career in the article. It doesn't say that she was a model anywhere, it just mentions a couple modeling agencies. How much do the sources say about this part of her career?

  • She's not really known as a model and has garnered more coverage as an actress (and she hasn't gotten that much coverage as an actress either so...). Since she's not that well known, coverage is very limited and I haven't found anything that could be added.
