Is the controversy section necessary?

Muslims in discussions are always linked with terrorism and controversy, wouldn't it be better if this place would be kept clean? The subject is Muslims In Houston which is a geographical subject so should contain the demographic picture and the settlement and the political involvement and also the effect on the area (like the building of mosques and increased religious tolerance). Controversy is very particularly dealt with, which is certainly not needed; specific cases are special and do not deserve mention. The general trend of Islamophobia is increasing and many are talking against highlighting the religion of terrorists, imagine hearing "Christian terrorists" or "Jewish terrorists", it would certainly sound disturbing. Religion should be kept out of such narratives as it de-legitimizes all Muslims in the world who are of a moderate nature like all other people. The issue withthe previous section was that it cherry-picked individual incidents to imply there was a trend of religious extremism, but there is no secondary source which explicitly says that there is a trend of religious extremism among Houston Muslims in particular. Alternative: Hate Crime Subsection

In response to the previous post, it wouldn't be a terrible idea to add a hate crime section. While this section should not include any themes of Islamophobia, it should still actively attempt to describe the treatment of Muslims in Houston. Hate crimes against Muslim Americans have been prevalent for a while in Texas. 26-year-old, Marq Vincent Perez, was convicted by jury in Victoria, Texas for burning a mosque with charges of arson and possessing unregistered explosives."
