I am sure that I am not the only one who finds Du Ponts advertisements on this article a little hard to swallow. I am removing them - if someone wishes to purchase ionomers - they can google for them.

The "average" person has no chance of comprehending all the jargon used in this article. I will not elaborate on the poor sentence structure and grammar, except to say that this is a terribly written piece. Speaking an an engineer (computer) - if I was a youngster trying to do some research, I would be completely "turned-off" by this article. Having dealt with pseudo-intellectual snobbery my entire life, I am sad to report that it is still alive and well in academia, and apparently, here within Wikipedia also. This should be, to the greatest extent possible, a site for the masses. Articles like this undermine that goal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.194.39.86 ( talk) 00:22, 7 June 2013 (UTC) reply
