Text and/or other creative content from this version of Indian Idol was copied or moved into Indian Idol (Hindi TV series) with this edit on 07:39, 24 June 2022. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. |
On 26 September 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved to Indian Idol. The result of the discussion was no consensus. |
This was the content of the stub Panna Gill, which now redirects here. I have no idea if it is true or not:

This article seems to be quite biased. Statements of opinion presented as fact include:
I think it is a valuable article and can probably be written to be neutral, although I don't know enough about the subject to do so myself. Eron 02:47, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
This article in it's present state is perfectly correct, and I am sure the aim of Wikipedia is to tell the truth to the world. There has been an uproar across Indians all over the world, over the results of Indian Idol II, and this can be gauged at the official site of Indian Idol, right here [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.6.53.14 ( talk • contribs)
Does anyone care as to how old some of these contestants are? Richa Aneja, was something like 15 or 16, not exactly sure how old, but in my opinion a 15 or 16 year old boy or girl should not be so busy with becoming famous and popular. The first proprity of any teen is to be educated.
Is there an age limit or an age guideline to audition to be a contestant for Indian Idol????

User User_talk:69.226.238.94 has been adding link to his/her personal blog. If the said contestant do not yet have a wiki article. Consider creating one with required sources. Under no circumstances can wikipedia serve as an advertisement platform for your own personal blog. If you keep on doing that, it will be considered as spam and more serious action may be necessary. I find the following links to be unnecessary. Blog links really do not make the cut as a valid reference sources. I repeat this is not your free ads space. Some pages have links to youtube video of the show which is not appropriate as it is a copyright violation. The official site has all the video, i dont see a reason to post pages with links to the video hosted elsewhere without permission. Any links to entity site which is not notable has to be removed. Before the discussion of the following has been closed. Refrain from adding back any of them as it will be removed on sight and if repeated constantly will be taken as spamming.
Pls state your opinion about the above links Thank you for your attention. Realdan 21:26, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Image:IndianIdol2.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
