The statement that the existing pueblo Indians are directly descendent from the ancient pueblo people is highly controversial and subject to both scientific and political debate. The article should have a disclaimer for that. Also, Albuquerque was founded as Ranchos de Alburquerque, after the Duke of Alburquerque. The spelling was later changed after the US conquest. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mapsjanhere ( talk • contribs) 20:39, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
It looks like almost the entire
Pueblo Revolt article is here. Since there is a main article, all this article should do is have a {{
main}} warning and then summarize the revolt in a paragraph. Similarly, the
New Mexico article should summarize the state's history as briefly as possibly (in a paragraph or two, maybe three). Also, I like the mention that the recorded history begins with the Spanish, but it's not entirely accurate. The indigenous people had ways of recording their history, and I think more discussion of that history is merited.--

'''==History IN New Mexico 1700-1826== Shouldn't there be some mention of the history after the reconquest and before Mexican Independance? Aside from brief notice of how what was outside of New Mexico was affecting it, there does seem to be much here. Bejnar 23:14, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
I think there should be more information on New Mexico just go to www.new mexico.com
