Revisiting capitals in title
I think it is important we reach consensus before doing anything but I do need to raise this issue again. If we look at MML -
Midland Main Line or
West Coast Main Line or
East Coast Main Line or even
Great Central Main Line they are all capitalized. Even Bonnie Scotland has
Highland Main Line in capitals. This article does not. I strongly feel we need consistency but at the same time we need consensus. What says ya'alls ?

I say GWML is a proper noun, as are most lines. -mattbuck (

Consistency is probably best way to go, especially when they are used in the same article. I would capitalise.

When and who makes the decision that consensus has been reached?

Support We should apply
WP:Common Sense, which would suggest that arbitrarily de-capping this line, when every similar one in the same category is capitalised makes very little sense.

Support - it's a proper noun, and proper nouns should be capitalised. This is not a descriptive-type line, where we're describing something that has no proper name, it has a proper name and that is Great Western Main Line. -mattbuck (

Support, per Mattbuck.

Comment Arguably this should never have been moved to lower-case in the first place, as it was always capitalised until 2017. If you look at the original move discussion further up, there were four votes for, and four against, that cannot in any way be interpreted as a consensus.

Support It is a proper noun for a proper line.
