This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... (The lyrics to this song are hundreds of years old!! Reprinting them here is not a copyright violation. The bot thinks that they were written by Mannheim Steamroller founder Chip Davis for his 1984 version of this song, Wassail, Wassail. They were not! The Mannheim Steamroller version of this song did not even have lyrics. It was an instrumental. Secondly, the lyrics are from at least the 18th century, first published in their current form in 1928 (actually, they were almost identically, but not quite exactly, first published in 1916 in Cecil J Sharp's book, which is mentioned in the article)!! Here is the Chip Davis recording on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FEbs9iq3cc No copyright violation!. ) -- YouarelovedSOmuch ( talk) 08:43, 1 November 2019 (UTC) reply
