I have no connection to Rajah, I’ve never met the person, but I am a South African journalist who is semi-retired and trying to add to Wikipedia pages of eminent fellow South Africans who are underserved by Wikipedia. The model for my contributions were Valentino and Versace. My bet is that staff would have created their pages. This is not the case here, nor in the instance of photographer Alf Khumalo - who I did know as a colleague - and others whose pages I have tried to improve. I am disturbed that when I try to improve the pages of Africans there are issues like this, but none for white Europeans, as an example.
