I'm pretty sure the European Communities, made up of the European Community and Euratom, still exists. Blue-Haired Lawyer 10:32, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
If we look at the European Communities today, they are incorporated within the EU through the Treaty of Maastricht. It doesn't mean so much how we call it but if we, people of Europe have real feeling of 1 United community something like the "United states of Europe" as Winston Churchill had proposed at Zurich University. I can see that smalller countries of the EU, mainly from the ex-Eastern Bloc are the mauin supporters of the reforms +a few of big countries (Germany etc.). —Preceding unsigned comment added by VLADIMIR Skokan ( talk • contribs) 07:16, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
